Here's what's happening NOW at GSACC...
BIG CHANGES COMING TO GSACC MEETING
Starting with the July 2023 meeting our print competitions will be held on the 1st Thursday (instead of the 3rd Thursday) of the month at the Lions Field Adult Center, 2809 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209. Our Education ZOOM meeting will now switch to the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Please note that 2023 membership dues in now due. You can print out a membership form from our website page "JOINING & CONTACTING GSACC", or by clicking on the FORM, print it, and send it along with your check to our current Treasurer at:
Susie Kain

Peter Florczak runs the Zoom meetings.
He will send out links to the meetings via the email address he has on file for each member. If you didn't get an invitation you can email him at peterflorczak@gmail.com. Within the email will be the link that will connect you to the meeting. No meeting number or password needed, just click the link. If you have problems, you can go to Zoom.us and click the join meeting link. Here you will need the meeting number and password in the email I send. I highly recommend you go to http://www.Zoom.us and register. That way when you click the link, your name shows up on the waiting list and on screen. If not there is only a number on the screen.
Thursday September 21st is our next Education ZOOM Meeting.
You do not need to be a member to attend. You only need to pay a yearly dues if you want to submit photos to our monthly contests.
For our next education night, our friend and colleague Jack Smith will share his experience with us. As you probably know, Jack has taken many beautiful landscape and wildlife photos, many of which are competition winners. The topics will include how he got started in wildlife photography, what equipment he uses, and how to get started for those of us unfamiliar with this genre. A Q&A and discussion session will follow.
We will be meeting in person at the Lions Field Adult Center, 2809 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209.
Please note that the starting time is still up in the air. Our understanding was that we would have a room from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, but they seem to think that we need to start earlier. Trish is negotiating with them and as soon as I find the start time I will let you know.
