GSACC HISTORY & PURPOSE
The Greater San Antonio Camera Club was organized in 1951 as the Woodlawn Camera Club, changing its name in 2001 to Greater San Antonio Camera Club to better reflect the current make-up of the club. It is a nonsectarian organization with membership open to photographic enthusiasts of all ages and proficiencies. The purpose of this club is to foster interest in photography, provide an effective medium for exchanging ideas, develop and improve the photographic skills and competence of its members, and to cooperate with other similar
organizations in worthwhile photographic activities.
MEETINGS
DIGITAL Competitions - Meetings are still held on Zoom. Please notify us here if you wish to attend a meeting, and we will put you on the mailing list to receive an invite.
PRINT competitions are held in person at:
Lions Field Adult Center
2809 Broadway
San Antonio, TX 78209
Hours of Operations: Mon–Thurs, 8am – 9pm / Friday, 8am - 5pm

Center Fee $7.00 annual fee for participants 60 and over; $15.00 for participants 18 to 59.
Third Thursday of each month: Education Meeting. Depending on the topic, we hold our Education meetings either on Zoom or at Lions Field (2809 Broadway). The email about the meeting will indicate where.
First Thursday of each month: Competition night, alternates with prints one month and digital images the next.
Print months: January, March, May, July, September, and November. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM, and will be held at the Lions Field Adult Center.
Digital months: February, April, June, August, October and December are our DIGITAL months - to be held on Zoom. Email us for a free invite.
