    Digital Category Added

GSACC’s members voted on February 16 and passed a proposal to add a new category, Pictorial Digital Monochrome. This category will be used beginning in April 2012, so we will have “Pictorial Digital Color” and “Pictorial Digital Monochrome.”

Files for these images should be named in this format: P_M_AK_Title (P for “Pictorial,” M for “Monochrome,” the photographer’s initials, then the title. Color image files will still follow the format: P_C_AK_Title. In Nature, Photojournalism and Assignment, color and monochrome are judged together. These files can simply be titled with category, initials and title.
